Mental fitness is not about fixing what is wrong—it is about developing the capacity, resilience, and focus to pursue what matters to you.

At EIVSOM, mental fitness training is designed around a simple idea: meaningful development requires practice. As Dr. Robert Graves explains, “We are the opportunity for motivated people who want to do the work, do the mental fitness training work, to be in the best condition they can be with regard to their mental fitness.” This approach moves beyond the idea of a quick fix and toward intentional learning and development.
The gym metaphor helps make this approach practical. Just as physical training can prepare someone to run a marathon, mental fitness training can help people develop the capabilities needed for demanding goals. Dr. Graves puts it clearly: “If you go to a physical gym, you will learn and train to have the capability to run that marathon. That's what we do here at EIVSOM mental fitness training is we will get you mentally fit enough to be able to take on the challenges that you want.” This connects directly with our approach to Personalized Learning Pathways, where development is shaped around the individual.
Mental fitness can begin from different places. Some people may need to reset and rebuild; others may be starting fresh, while others are already functioning well and want greater resilience. The goal is not simply to feel better—it is to become better prepared. As Dr. Graves says, “Our goal is always to get you to the mental fitness condition that you want to be in in order to be able to strive to achieve your goals.” That is the purpose of the EIVSOM Process: turning mental fitness into something we can understand, practice, and continually develop.
